The very nature of national cultural parks, embodying national representation and public benefit, necessitates a unique management system. Cultural heritage management in China has faced challenges like multiple regulatory authorities with overlapping jurisdictions, substantial residential presence in heritage sites, complex land ownership issues, limited financial resources, and difficulties in coordinating efforts across different regions. Drawing on international best practices, this book explores solutions to these challenges.
