This book is part of the “Integration of Marxism with China’s Excellent Traditional Culture” series. The question of how to integrate Marxism with China’s excellent traditional culture, continually advancing Marxism in the Chinese context, and better addressing the historical tasks of different periods, is a major issue that has been deeply considered by the Chinese Communist Party. This book briefly reviews the century-long journey of integrating Marxism with China’s excellent traditional culture. It vividly illustrates, through a combination of historical analysis and theory, how our Party has progressed from implementing the concept of “integration” to establishing the theory and principles of “integration,” and ultimately formulating the theory of “Two Integrations” (the integration of Marxism with China's specific realities and with China's fine traditional culture). It showcases the new heights reached by Chinese Communists as subjects of cognition, history, and innovation, and further extracts fundamental experiences and contemporary insights from the century-long “integration” that can serve as valuable references.
