Professor Li Yining is one of the most influential economists in contemporary China. This book accounts for his work experience at the CPPCC National Committee from 2003 to 2018. The author is a student of Professor Li and also works at the CPPCC, who had close access to Professor Li’s research and conference activities during his tenure as a member of the Standing Committee and vice chairman of the Committee of Economic Affairs of the CPPCC National Committee. He summarizes Li’s thoughts and views on economics, philosophy, literature and history, vividly and completely revealing Li’s profound thoughts, academic contributions, literary accomplishments and personal interests.
