Jin Chongji
金冲及

Jin Chongji is an expert in the history of the Communist Party of China and modern Chinese History and former president of the Chinese Historiography Association. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1948. He graduated from the History Department of Fudan University in 1951. He has successively served as a secretary of the Youth League Committee of Fudan University, deputy director of the academic affairs department, deputy director of the teaching science department, chief editor of the Cultural Relics Publishing House, executive deputy director, and researcher of the literature research office of the CPC Central Committee, and a member of the leading group of the national philosophy and social science planning, member of the seventh, eighth and Ninth CPPCC National Committee. Currently, he is a member of the Advisory Committee of Marxist theoretical research and construction engineering, a part-time professor and doctoral supervisor of Peking University, Fudan University, and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In addition, he is a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
