Chi Yunfei
迟云飞

Chi Yunfei (1957–), professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of History, Capital Normal University. He graduated from the Institute of Qing History, Renmin University of China, in 1999. His research focuses on the political history of modern China, especially the political reforms and developments in the late Qing Dynasty and the early years of the Republic of China. His books include The Great Turbulence of the Late Qing Dynasty: Reform, Revolution and Disintegration (1901–1911), Song Jiaoren and China’s Democratic Constitutionalism, The Thoughts of Song Jiaoren, A Research on the Preparation for Constitution-Making in the Late Qing Dynasty, Biography of Zeng Guofan (co-authored), General History of the Qing Dynasty (Guangxu section II, Xuantong section), and Annals of the Qing Dynasty (volume 12). Chi has also published over 100 papers.
