As one of Zhao Tingyang's "First Philosophy" series, this book contains nine essays on metaphysical issues by the author over the past twenty years, focusing on his highly original philosophical discussions on creation-existentialism, coexistence-existentialism, verbal philosophy, temporal bifurcation, the metaphysics of history, and recursion of problems. In particular, the book focuses on the interpretation of the problem of "origin" from the perspective of the philosophy of history, and puts forward the theory of "metaphysics of history", which holds that there is a trinity of creationism, existentialism and philosophy of history, i.e., the problem of origin of creationism, the problem of origin of existentialism, and the problem of traceability of the philosophy of history, which are consistent and mutually exclusive. The three are coherent, related to each other, and explain each other.
