This book draws upon the author's systematic study of party history and resolutions, along with historical materials from National People's Congress Reading Notes: A Century of Choice. Since the Opium War in 1840, the Chinese people with lofty ideals led the whole people to embark on a relentless quest: to find a political system that fit China's specific needs. Through trial and error, this arduous journey culminated in the creation of the People's Congress system.
