"Chinese History of Cultural Relics" is a series of general history edited by the national museum of China, with more than 2000 exquisite historical relics pictures. It wins the monination for the first Chinese government Publication Award. The series consists of 8 volumes, namely, The History of Cultural Relics   in Xia, Shang and Zhou Period, The History of Cultural Relics in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, The History of Cultural Relics in Qin and Han Dynasties, The History of Cultural Relics in the Three Kingdoms, the Two Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties, The History of Cultural Relics in Sui and Tang Dynasties, The History of Cultural Relics in Song Dynasty, and The History of Cultural Relics in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Taking cultural relics as the main line, this series narrates the history from prehistoric times to the fall of the Qing Dynasty, combining cultural relics, archaeological materials and historical documents, whith which it comprehensively introduces the relevant achievements in the field of archaeology and history at present.
