The Great Learning is divided into two parts. The first part, entitled “Brief Introduction: Five Questions”, raised questions in five aspects, i.e., education, teacher, quality, classics, and teaching materials, with each being responded by 10–30 viewpoints in a plain, straightforward and well-planned manner. The second part, entitled “Detailed Discussion: Six Articles”, supplements the first part with the author’s six published articles on education.
The book presents the author’s view on education and his reasoning process in a systematic manner. It is informative for educational decision-makers, educators, parents, and students. It also serves as a good reference for the improvement of the existing education system.
