The song collection is specially released in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the 65th anniversary of the Beijing Children’s Palace and the Beijing Children’s Palace Choir. Compiled by the Beijing Children’s Palace, this book gathers 12 songs that were originally sung by the Choir and that were created or adapted by the Palace based on the development of the CPC. These songs include famous children’s songs like We Are the Successors to Communism and Red Star Song which were first performed by the Choir, as well as newly released songs such as Remain True to our Original Inspiration and the anti-epidemic song Warm Spring With Blooming Flowers. As they were written to reflect the times, these songs are exerting an enduring impact on the Chinese people of generations, greatly contributing to the education of teenagers. The set includes singing demos and piano accompaniment tracks (2 CD and QR codes) and copies of 12 original paintings of the students from the Beijing Children’s Palace. It sets a good example for all youth activity centers nationwide with a book that is easy to be popularized and responds to the call of the times.
