A Think Tank Perspective on the Innovative Exploration of Regional Integration in the Yangtze River Delta is part of the Integration in the Yangtze River Delta Series. It focuses on cooperation programs launched since the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta was identified as a national strategy, including bilateral or multilateral provincial-level cooperation programs among Shanghai Municipality, Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province and Anhui Province; as well as those that are carried out between key basins and between cities in the region. It also concentrates on the key missions and cooperation initiatives identified in the outline of the integrated regional development of the Yangtze River Delta; the three lists of key policies, key items and key projects; and the three-year action plan for the green and integrated ecological development of the Delta. Fourteen cases including texts and photos are presented to showcase the outstanding achievements in key sectors, key regions, key projects and key platform construction for the integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta; the innovation in major institutions and mechanisms and key reform and opening-up initiatives for the regional cooperation in the area; and new ideas, new approaches and new measures taken to facilitate cooperation.
