The book has 15 chapters, starting with The Book of Songs and Chu Ci in the pre-Qin, then the poems of the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties, and finally the poetry of the Tang Dynasty which is the peak of Chinese poetry. The classic poems that readers are familiar with are roughly classified into them, showing the immortal monuments in the history of Chinese literature to readers. Through the analysis of classical poetry, this paper expounds on the excellent traditional spirit and humanistic feelings in poetry.
