Shan Feng

Shan Feng, formerly known as Shi Lun, was born on January 11, 1977, in Changshun, Qiannan, Guizhou Province, China. As a writer, screenwriter, and director, he has left an indelible mark on the artistic landscape. In 2013, Shan Feng published his first novel Listening to Incense in Guizhou. Acclaimed as a collection of fables, a profound work, and a romance novel with high thinking values, the novel was shortlisted for the 9th Mao Dun Literature Award. Shan Feng published novella The Singing Voice of the Young Knight in 2014, which was later adapted into the film A Horse with Hope. The film was nominated for Best Foreign Language Feature Film at the 52nd Korean Grand Bell Awards in 2015. It was released in China in May 2016 and went on to be nominated for the 31st Golden Rooster Awards in 2017. Shan Feng's talent has garnered international recognition. From 2017 to 2019, he was invited to participate in artistic residencies held in Tasmania, Rovaniemi, and Toulouse. In May 2021, Shan Feng directed the film Three Days and Two Nights, slated for release in 2022.
