Dr. Wang Yongli holds a PhD in Economics. As a prominent figure in China’s financial sector, he has served many leadership positions at major institutions, including Vice President and Executive Director of the Bank of China, the first director of SWIFT from mainland China, Senior Vice President of LeEco, CEO of LeEco Finance, Chief Economist of Shenzhen Neptunus Group, and Vice Chairman and General Manager of China International Futures Co., Ltd. Dr. Wang has both extensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience in currency and finance, covering international monetary and financial systems, foreign exchange reserve management, RMB internationalization, futures and derivatives, internet finance, digital currency, and blockchain technology. He has published numerous articles and books on finance, including A Panoramic View of the Financial Crisis, New Mindsets on Finance & New Directions for Banking: Through Crisis: China's Choices in a Rapidly Changing World, and China's Choices in the Global Financial Turbulence.
